The French expression that means no more or less than “young man” was used as a pseudonym by actually young Gleb Kalinin. His creative work under this alias was an experiment in its initial meaning — formulated goals didn’t give a clear view of the final result. A combination of many styles, a fresh and rational world view and attempts to influence the natural course of things with music — these were the main characteristics of Jeune homme.
After releasing some tracks on various compilations and performing at a number of festivals as Jeune homme, Gleb Kalinin switched his attention to DJing and production of disco-influenced music under the artist name Disconorte.
