Ami Lindholm: “‘Anxiety/Relief’ is an animated diary, an animation about making of animation. This dark yet hilarious metaanimation uses some of the most essential storytelling methods: loops, exaggerations, metaphoras. A poor artist’s life is repeated on an endless loop of similar situations: no work — too much work, everything is great — nothing works, I’m the best — I’m nothing. This diary is therapeutic for all the people struggling with art. Anyone who deals with a creative work can feel related to these situations.”

The diary has been prepared day by day during 2009–2011 in the technique of drawn animation on paper.
