In this work of painstakingly intense video editing Yellowhead is dealing with aggressive acts: he shows temper, bangs the table with a fist, yells and swings his arms.

To fully appreciate what exactly the director did here, you may need some context. First, Yellowhead thought out a short 20-second video for an occasional one-time screening. Second, Dmitry Slusarchuk and Anton Drozdov put their time, skills, connections and even some money into realizing the idea. Then, the outcome, as planned, was shown once at one of the cinema theaters. And the story could have ended there.

However, it felt irrational and wrong not to get something else from the efforts of the people involved. So Dmitry Slusarchuk performed a miracle of video editing: using a ridiculously scarce amount of filmed material, he managed to produce a music video for the Yellowhead’s track “Cll th Abmlnc m Bd”.

The director himself calls the result “Anger Anthology”⁠ — which makes way more sense than the questionable track title, that’s for sure.
