Sharp music, inspired by 20th century raves, urban outlying areas, board games and hydraulic systems. Produced by one man through touching and pushing hundreds of buttons.

A show which is prepared and performed by one man is a straight and clear matter: you know exactly who is in charge and who to glorify (or blame). It is also practically useful and comfortable to be that one man behind a show: you set up all the rules, deal only with yourself, and actually do what you want. Scaly Whale managed his “One Man Show” exactly this way. The commentary which the author uses to accompany his work exhaustively explains the attitude behind it. Here it is:

“I’ve recorded an album.”

There is more to this statement than meets the eye, of course. It says that not only a collective effort can be effective. Even one man is capable of doing something worthwhile. He can record a music album, for example. And this — if you pardon the expression — is awesome.
