Frosty citrus fruits are the quintessence of a deep winter. The head is a doubtful character, reflexing and not able to find itself. Alexandra Uvarova, the director and animator behind “Lemons in the Dead of Winter”, exhorts the viewer to sublimate winter melancholy beforehand and not to be anxious during long winter months.

Music that plays in the video is a fragment of Yellowhead’s track “The Joy of Being Understood“ from his album “Violet-Yellow Small People“ (2000), released in extra limited edition and currently, as far as we can tell, not available anywhere at all.
